A Journey towards an Executive Coaching Diploma

I haven’t written a blog article for quite some time because I have been completed dedicated to completing my ILM Level 7 Diploma in Executive Coaching and Mentoring. So, I'm thrilled to share a significant milestone in my professional journey!

After what feels like an eternity (and over two years of dedicated work!), I have finally submitted both assignment two and three for my diploma.

I've been heads-down and focused on completing the assignments. And I'm delighted to announce that it's DONE! I effectively disappeared from the end of September until mid-December, a period of intense focus to get both assignments submitted before the festive season kicked off. It was a challenging stretch, but now I can bask in the glow.

This journey has been a rewarding, albeit lengthy, process. I'm incredibly proud to have dedicated over 60 hours to executive coaching with seven amazing coachees. It's been a privilege to work alongside them and witness their growth and development.

The final step in this stage, which ended up being two major steps, was compiling and uploading all the necessary documentation for my portfolio of evidence, not just for the case studies but also for the reflective thesis! And now, I'm incredibly relieved to have not just crossed, but leapt over the finish line.

This experience has been so much more than just ticking boxes for a qualification. It's been about building genuine connections with my coachees, fostering a space of trust and openness, and empowering them to achieve their goals. Witnessing their breakthroughs and progress has been truly inspiring and reinforces my passion for coaching.

I wouldn't have reached this milestone without the incredible support I've received along the way. I'm deeply grateful for the trust and vulnerability my coachees demonstrated throughout our sessions. Their willingness to engage in the coaching process made all the difference.

A huge thank you also goes to the patient and understanding team at Xenonex. Their guidance and support have been invaluable throughout this journey. They've been there to answer my questions, provide feedback, and offer encouragement every step of the way.

The period from the end of September to mid-December was a real push. Juggling everything to get both assignments completed before the holiday season was demanding, but I'm so glad I prioritized it. Now, I can truly relax and enjoy the festivities knowing this significant chapter is closed.

This qualification isn't just about adding letters after my name. It represents a significant step in my second career, demonstrating my commitment to professional development and my passion for helping others unlock their potential. It proves that it's never too late to pursue your dreams and embark on a new path.

I'm excited to continue growing as an executive coach and mentor, and I'm always open to connecting with others in the field. If you're interested in learning more about my coaching services or exploring potential collaborations, please feel free to reach out.

Happy Holidays to everyone and a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
