I wear many professional hats and sometimes this means there is nothing to share publicly and sometimes this provides me the opportunity to post an article twice in a week! This week is one of those weeks!

Another thing is that it takes me a great deal to record and publicly share a video of me and yet here I am doing exactly that and for good reason too. It is for the Annual LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Conference at LEGOLAND Hotel and Conference Centre in Billund, Denmark in October 2024 which I am very much looking forward to attending.

If you are a facilitator of the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method and materials, you may want to consider it too. The details can he found here: lego-serious-play-conference-advanced-training

Video Transcript:

I am at my happiest when I am cutting the grass at the farm. However my second happy place has got to be attending The Annual LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Conference at LEGOLAND Hotel and Conference Centre in Billund, Denmark.

Now, we all know LSP is a about unlocking potential, and this year's conference theme is all about "When Wrong is Right: Learning from Failure through Play".

Imagine this: a room buzzing with passionate facilitators, LSP veterans and insightful keynote speakers where "wrong" builds become stepping stones to breakthrough ideas. We're not afraid to experiment, to see our metaphorical castles crumble, because that's how we learn and adapt. It's like failing epically forward with LEGO bricks in hand, each iteration revealing a new facet of the problem. The event is curated by intHRface and chaired by Professor Johan Roos. We'll be dissecting real-world LSP case studies where "wrong" builds lead to ground-breaking solutions. Plus, there's the buzz of co-creating new exercises that embrace the power of failure within the LSP framework.

It's pure LSP alchemy, transforming perceived mistakes into golden opportunities. As a facilitator who wants to push the boundaries of LSP, that's pure happiness.

It's Billund, Denmark, where failing with LEGO bricks becomes the ultimate key to success. Now that's my happy place.
